Grief as defined by The Grief Recovery Method is:
1. the normal and natural reaction to change or loss of any kind;
2. grief is the response to a change in, or end of, a familiar pattern of behaviour;
3. the feeling of reaching out to someone who's always been there for you, only to find out when you need them one more time, they are no longer there OR reaching our to someone who's never been there for you, only to find out when you need them one more time, they are still not there
If these definitions resonate with you, perhaps attending our Grief Support Group can help you. The group is an action-based group, which means we take steps to work through your grief and put a voice to undelivered communication that may be causing you distress.
Please call 306-236-4804 for more information or to register. We look forward to hearing from you.
Groups run once/week for eight weeks. We also run a group for adults/caregivers/professionals who work with children who are experiencing loss.
